Home on an Island

This small island is located in Abu Dhabi and is home to some amazing properties. It’s known as the Nurai Island Resort. Judging by the fact this island is so small and only has property on it, I think it might be one of those man-made islands. I’m not sure. But they are very very nice houses. I’m pretty sure they are all an exact replica of each other so I’m just going to show you one, but I’m sure it’ll amaze you like it did me. (Click on images to enlarge).
Here’s a look at the outside of one of the houses. I love the box shape to it, and if you look closely you’ll see an amazing roof terrace. All of the houses are on the shore line and have their own dock for a boat. They are all 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom properties with luxurious extras such as a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi in each and a private helipad for all the properties to share. Not bad!
I absolutely love the outdoor decking for this house. It stretches all the way around the property and is a great place for sunbathing and entertaining guests. Those sun loungers are a great addition too.
Here we have the living area. It has a very immaculate and spacious layout and its design is very simple. I’m more fond of a cosy living room, but I do like this one for its gigantic windows and sea view.
This is the dining area. I couldn’t find a picture of the kitchen in this house but I think that’s it on the right of this photo, hidden in that smaller room. I love the dining table and all the art work in this room.
I only have a photo of one of the bedrooms, so here it is. What amazing views you get from all sides of this house, and this bedroom is no exception. The floor to ceiling windows are my favourite feature and i love the general decor of the room. Imagine waking up to that view every morning!
This shot of one of the bathrooms doesn’t exactly include the most essential features to a bathroom, but it does have a beautiful free standing circular bath, and more of those huge windows. That’s enough to convince me that the rest of the bathroom will have been designed with just as much thought and attention to detail. I think that might be the sink on the left?
