Villa Yin – Phuket’s Finest

September 29, 2011 § Leave a comment

I recently found this beautiful oriental themed house which is based on the island of Phuket, Thailand. It’s on the west coast of the island, on the waterfront, among an array of amazing tropical plants and trees. It’s got a very modern look about it, but despite that is still very warm and welcoming. The colour schemes are quite dark, using mainly browns, reds and greens for the interiors. They frequently use features such as bamboo and hardwood throughout the house. Here’s an overview of the property. Here you can see all the beautiful surroundings of the property and the impressive infinity pool. The views this property has are incredible and is somewhere I would definitely love to visit.

Overview

Property View

Here is the inside of the property. The first living room area I’m showing you is quite open plan and spacious. It’s got quite a sharp and modernistic look about it, but it’s still inviting. I love the floor to ceiling windows that give you views of all the surroundings.

Living Area

Here’s a second living room. It’s much smaller and brighter. I love the hanging chair and the dark wooden wardrobe style cupboard on the left.

Second Living Room

This is the kitchen. It’s a very modern and stylish room with a great use of space. I really like the island in the middle of it and the oriental style of kitchen implements.

Here’s the dining area. I absolutely love this table and chairs and the way its been laid out. The worktop area looks great with all the fruit decorating it, and could also be used for extra space the table might not provide.

There are four bedrooms in the house, with one of them being located in a guest house in the garden. All the bedrooms are very bright and airy, with great big windows giving amazing views. Here are a couple of the rooms, my personal favourites.

This first room has a really impressive bed with amazingly designed head-board. I love the balcony.

I love the low bed in this room and the oriental themes that are present.

Second Bedroom

One of the bedrooms in this house features the most amazing walk in wardrobe. It’s made from slate grey style doors that when shut look extremely sleek. Here’s it shown open and closed.

I really like the bathrooms in this property. They’re all very clean and warm looking. There’s one bath in particular that I love, shown below. It’s been designed using granite and is not your usual style of bath. The floor to ceiling windows could become a problem though if you want some privacy in the bath!

I’ve covered most of the interior of the property, so here are a couple of views of the garden areas. This house has a very spacious garden with the balcony spanning all the way around the building. The seating areas all look very chilled out and somewhere I could definitely see my self relaxing.
